Differences, part 197
I think I could write a book solely on dating differences between Koreans and Americans, and it’s only been one year. Imagine how much frustration I have felt!
Anyway, Butterflies and I had our nightly chat and we ended up talking about sex. He felt so awkward because he said he would never say anything about that to a Korean girl. I had to explain that it is very normal and good for people to talk about it, and he shouldn’t feel uncomfortable. He definitely has way more experience than the average Korean guy, and seems to be more open-minded about it too.
It’s so weird being in a kind of-relationship with a Korean guy who I can actually talk to like I normally would with a Western guy. I’m also grateful that he truly cares about my culture and is trying to understand where I come from. Still creeped out by how much I like him, though. Ah, monogamy!
